Blurp of the Week

Hey, here I am enjoying some well deserved 5 minutes!! I got my Annotated Bibliography back and got an A!!!!!!!!!! This is the first time that I have got an A on a History paper so I am extremely excited. I thought that I would point out that my profile is complete and uptodate and that I have also attached a nice picture of yours truly from Welcome Week here at the College. Yeah, that was a great day (:P). Other than that nothing else is new. 12 more sleeps until I go to Fernie for a ski weekend and will bring the town to life with my vibrant personality (no offense to Ferniers but my friend JG thinks that Fernie is a happening town... hahaha!!!). But we shall see. Nonetheless I think it'll be a great weekend for Me, LR, BN, and JG!! I can't believe that it is a mere 2 1/2 months until I am finished school at COTR and will then make the walk the whole 20 feet behind the building to the Ed. Shed for another three years. I keep checking daily for updates on my application, they haven't decided yet but the school has received all of my documents. Ooh, HARRY POTTER UPDATE!!: HPOotP comes out in theatres in North America July 13th 2007 (I am gonna camp out with the 6 year olds) and HPDH comes out July 21st!!! I will have a reading marathon that day!! Anyways, now I must go and study. Have a great week.

Catch Up - (Short Version)

Entered second year of college in Sept. 06 taking Canadian-American relations, Canadian Literature, Introductory Sociology, Intermediate French, and Basic Anatomy. Achieved an semester GPA of 8.3. VERY HAPPY!!

Quit the Superstore December 26th (Merry Christmas to me!!) after having taken a new job at the Home Depot (started Dec. 28th). Was training extensively all of January until we opened two weeks ago (Jan 24th) and have been so happy and relaxed and having tons of fun!!!

Entered second semester the first week of January taking Women's History, Advanced Composition, Intermediate French, Introductory Sociology, and Leadership in Play and Games. A pretty fun semester which means I can work more at my new job and also at my other job as a Circulation Clerk at the College of the Rockies library.

Right now I have just submited a 5 (actually 7) page annotated bibliography about the sources that I will be using in my term paper for Canadian Women's History. I will be examining how women teachers were challenged in their entry and work in the teaching profession. I am also working on a French composition about the advanatges of bilingualism. And I am trying to stay grounded (a feit that is prooving very difficult right now!).

Other than that I am working my butt off but having fun because I am caught up!!!
